Jharkhand Spirit, Giridih : Every person has ego in his mind and he remains busy in proving himself and his religion to be superior. But we need to follow the path of our Indian tradition in which consciousness is accepted not only in water, air and fire but also in metal, hence no one has the right to kick even metal. Human beings must be respected as human beings, only then will the message of Friendship Festival be meaningful.
The above things were said by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. He was speaking as the chief guest at
the World Friendship Festival organized at Gunayatan in Madhuban. The Vishwa Maitri Festival
organised by the Mahaveerayatan Foundation was held at Gunayatan in Madhuban on Friday.
In Jainism, after Daslakshana Mahaparva, Kshamavani is organized in which forgiveness is sought
from every living being for the mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly. Keeping Kshamavani in mind, Vishwa Maitri Mahotsav was
organized with the hope that friendship should be established among humans. While reciting the
Namokar Mantra, he said that there is no mention of any great man of Jainism anywhere in the
entire mantra. Every human being needs to be respected. The Governor reached Kalyanniketan by helicopter to attend
the program where he was given a guard of honor and then he reached the venue where the formalities began.
