Jharkhand Spirit, Giridih : Parasnath Railway station is one of the famous and big
railway stations of Jharkhand because it is the nearest Railway Station to
Parasnath Hill, the famous holy place of Jains. This station is named after the
name of Parasnath Hill. It is believed that 20 tirthankars out of 24 of Jain
Dharma have attained salvation here and the 23rd tirthankar, Lord Parshwanath
has attained salvation here. The name parasnath is taken from Parshwanth. It
was the introduction of the pilgrimage and its nearest railway station
Parasnath. Now, come to the point and the point is — besides its sacred image
and importance, the current condition of the station's approach is very
deteriorated. There are so many potholes and mud in the road that this about
2km road has become a hell of the earth. It takes more than half an hour to
cross the road. Therefore, local people as well as Jain pilgrims from the
various parts of the country are facing problems. Complaints have been raised
so many times before ministers, MP, MLA but all are in vain.
