Experience the Path to Moksha at Gunayatan's Digital Experience Centre

Digital Experience Centre Nearing Completion
Deepak Mishra, Jharkhand Spirit : A unique Digital Experience Centre is being developed at Gunayatan in Madhuban, a renowned Jain pilgrimage town located at the foothills of Parasnath Hill in Jharkhand. The centre aims to offer visitors an immersive spiritual experience inspired by the path to liberation described in Jain philosophy.

Madhuban is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations for Jains. Every year, lakhs of devotees from across India visit the town to offer prayers. The town is home to several magnificent Jain temples and continues to expand with the construction of new temples and dharamshalas.

Among the major ongoing projects is Gunayatan, where not only a grand Jain temple is taking shape, but also a modern Digital Experience Centre designed to introduce visitors to the spiritual journey followed by enlightened souls on the path to moksha (liberation).

According to Jain tradition, 20 of the 24 Tirthankaras attained moksha from the sacred Parasnath Hill, making the region one of the holiest places in Jainism.

Speaking about the project, Avinash Jain Vidyawani, spokesperson of Gunayatan, said that the complex is being developed as a unique blend of Jain philosophy, spirituality, and modern technology.

He said the ultimate goal of Jain philosophy is to help the soul realize its pure nature. The Digital Experience Centre will present the soul's spiritual journey—from ignorance to right faith, self-discipline, destruction of karmas, attainment of Keval Gyan (omniscience), and finally Siddhahood—through advanced digital projection, light and sound effects, robotic technology, and interactive 3D and 4D experiences.

"The aim is not just to teach religion but to let people experience it," he said.

The centre is expected to help children, young people, researchers, foreign tourists, and devotees understand the core principles of Jain philosophy in an easy and engaging manner.

The vision behind this ambitious spiritual project is credited to Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj, a prominent disciple of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. Under his guidance and inspiration, Gunayatan is gradually taking shape as a landmark centre for spiritual learning and experience.
