Deepak Mishra, Jharkhand Spirit : The nine-day Shri Siddha Chakra Vidhan Mandal commenced on Tuesday at Gunayatan, located in Madhuban, one of Jainism's most revered pilgrimage centres. The grand religious event is being conducted under the spiritual guidance of Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj and Muni Shri Sandhan Sagar Ji Maharaj, drawing hundreds of devotees and pilgrims from across the country.

The inaugural ceremony began with the Mandap inauguration followed by the Dhwajarohan (flag hoisting) ritual, marking the formal commencement of the sacred observance. A large number of devotees had gathered at the venue since the early hours of the morning to participate in the auspicious occasion.

Addressing the gathering after the flag hoisting ceremony, Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj explained the spiritual significance of Dhwajarohan. He said every religious programme begins with the hoisting of the flag because it symbolizes the supreme place of Dharma in life. While the flag flutters in whichever direction the wind blows, its pole remains firm and upright. He urged devotees to draw inspiration from this symbolism by remaining steadfast in their faith and unwavering in their commitment to the path of righteousness, irrespective of changing circumstances.

Delivering his discourse on the opening day of the Vidhan, Muni Shri described the Shri Siddha Chakra Vidhan Mandal as a festival of faith, spiritual attainment, and prosperity. He emphasized that the ritual is not merely an external religious ceremony but a profound process of inner purification and self-transformation.

"The Siddha Chakra Vidhan does not demand blind faith; rather, it calls for enlightened and discerning faith rooted in wisdom," he said, adding that true devotion should arise from understanding and spiritual awareness rather than mere ritualistic practice.

The nine-day religious programme will continue with daily rituals, devotional offerings, and spiritual discourses, providing devotees with an opportunity to deepen their faith and engage in self-reflection through Jain philosophy.
