Jharkhand Spirit, Giridih : In a shocking incident, the body of prominent Giridih physician Dr. B.N. Jha was recovered from a well in the Lakhari area under Pachamba police station on Monday morning.
According to preliminary information, Dr. Jha had gone for his routine morning walk towards the Lakhari area when the incident occurred.
On receiving information, the local police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to Giridih Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained. It remains unclear whether Dr. Jha was murdered or died by suicide. Police have launched an investigation from all possible angles.
Officials said the circumstances surrounding the death will become clearer after the post-mortem report is received. Police have assured that a fair and thorough investigation is being carried out.
